You Tube & Northern Ireland

One amazing aspect of Blogger is the ability to embed your own videos and videos from YouTube into the sight.

Here is a video from YouTube that includes a great deal of footage of the Battle of the Bogside in addition to the images of the Hunger Strikers. The living hunger strikers you will see (Long Hair and Beards) are still alive today. At least one of them is; one is Raymond McCartney and he is a representative for Sinn Fein in L'Derry. You can see him depicted in one of the Bogside Artists' Murals, titled "Hunger Strikers."



Another interesting thing to notice if you are a YouTuber, is how many Loyalist propagandist films there are. Try a search for UDA, UFF, Northern Ireland, etc and you'll find some pretty disturbing stuff.
